Bill Beall Co., Inc Founder

Bill Beall
William C. Beall, Jr. (1941-2010)
Bill started in commercial real estate at the age of 19 when he decided he could pay his way through college at the University of Missouri if he could find a way to buy an apartment house with the right cash flow. With a borrowed down payment from a local banker who, a few years later, became a development partner, he did just that.
Bill served his country with two tours in Viet Nam, attended graduate school and then sat down with a map and economic data and selected Springfield, Missouri, as the place that offered the quality of life and the kind of growth opportunity he was looking for. Bill always believed that Southwest Missouri and particularly Springfield offered those same advantages to others. Bill and his wife, JoNell, raised their two children, JoLynn and Brad in this community.
He founded Bill Beall Co., Inc., a commercial and industrial real estate company in 1977. His dynamic vision and hard work accounted for much of the business expansion and growth of Springfield. He was a leader in local banking as well. Bill's business philosophy was "lived" everyday: A good deal should benefit Seller AND Buyer AND the Community.
That philosophy is still the "operations manual" for Bill Beall Co., Inc.
Bill planned for a real estate company that would continue after his own daily involvement. At the time of his death, Bill Beall Co., Inc had 750,000 S/F of property under management. The company continues as a Springfield leader in the business of commercial and industrial real estate.
